About ESRA

ESRA is the premier global trade association focused on the advancement of electronic signatures and records.

ESRA leads efforts to optimize the understanding and encourage adoption of these practices. Founded in 2006, ESRA is a global, not-for-profit, volunteer organization comprised of both users and providers of e-signatures and records. ESRA provides a vendor- and technology-neutral forum that advocates public policy and promotes the inherent compliance, efficiency and transparency benefits of electronic processes to the public, businesses and government alike. ESRA develops thought leadership, events and education around the most pressing legal, regulatory and operational issues associated with the use of e-signed records.

ESRA is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and is member-managed as a Virginia not-for-profit association. It is governed by a board of directors and currently has approximately 40 member companies and organizations around the globe.
