WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 18, 2013 – The Electronic Signature and Records Association (ESRA), a Washington, D.C.-based trade association focused on the use and acceptance of electronic signatures and records has announced its 2013 Board of Directors.
David Brinkman, President and CEO of AssureSign, Inc., is the association’s new Chairman. He succeeds Ken Moyle, Chief Legal Officer of DocuSign, Inc. Bill Brice, CEO of AlphaTrust Corporation, was named Vice Chairman.
Formed in 2005, ESRA has been a vehicle for members to share timely and cutting edge information on electronic signature and record legal, regulatory and industry trends and interact with policy-makers to advance the adoption of electronic signatures and records. . As part of its 2013 agenda, ESRA has launched a Healthcare committee and embarked on targeted policy initiatives that promote a legal and regulatory environment beneficial to e-commerce both domestically and abroad including ESRA participation in the UN/CEFACT Recommendation 14.
